Bodega Bay School, Tomales High School, and Inverness Schools will be in session on May 24th! This day is marked as our second emergency day on the school calendar. We're using it to make up for February 6th, when we had to cancel classes due to storm-related flooding and power outages. We're looking forward to seeing all Inverness, Bodega Bay, and Tomales High School students and staff in school on May 24th.

Join us for our last District Community Schools Table Meeting of 23-24 on April 29th at 5:30 p.m. at Tomales Elementary, located at 40 John St, Tomales. We'll discuss the eight identified strategies for community schools and seek your feedback on which ones we should focus on for the next year. Additionally, we'll provide a brief overview of our plans for next year, including participatory budgeting. Interpretation services will be available, and light refreshments will be served. While we're working hard to secure childcare, it has been challenging. We continue to work hard to provide this service. Nonetheless, we encourage all your students to attend and participate in the meeting to share their thoughts. We look forward to seeing you there for an engaging evening of brainstorming and community collaboration!

Based on the increasing number of power outages, as well as the high winds and continuing rain that will undoubtedly affect our road conditions into the morning, we are making the decision to close all Shoreline schools for tomorrow, Monday February 5th. We will make up this school day on April 5th, our first emergency school closure day. We plan to reopen schools on Tuesday, February 6th. The forecast calls for much calmer weather tomorrow, and we will spend the day ensuring that our schools are ready for students to return on Tuesday. Please stay safe and take care of yourselves and each other.
