Skillz that Pay is a career-readiness and mentoring program that prepares West Marin’s young adults to enter the workforce. The program will provide a comprehensive approach for both career planning and life. This course will include the following topics:

Resume writing

Positive first impressions

Proper attitude

Preparing for the interview

Expanding your thinking

These positive skills students will learn will help them in the work world, in School, and as they move forward in their lives. We have reached out to community-oriented local businesses to participate in this program by offering summer job opportunities for the youth who have completed the course. Students will obtain a work permit for their summer job placement.
